My Top 5 Artists (Week Ending 2010-3-7)

I took this photo a few years ago of my friend Kenny. Someone on Tumblr apparently found it and posted it, now it has over 400 notes. Neat!
To answer some of the rebloggers questions - it’s not a tattoo. We did it with a black light and liquid sidewalk chalk.
My camera isn’t good enough to properly capture the pictures so they didn’t turn out well but the rest of the set can be found here.

I don’t own my clothes, but I own my mind.
And it’s not what you’ve lost but it’s what you’ll find.

I was fortunate enough to get to attend a preview of “Alice in Wonderland” on Tuesday.
I wouldn’t say it was the best movie I’ve ever seen, or even the best Tim Burton movie I’ve ever seen. But it was pretty awesome.
One thing that is off putting right from the start is the insanely long fall down the rabbit hole. It’s boring and if you’re watching it in 3D it’s the first taste you get and it hurts. There’s also the issue of the White Queen, who wasn’t even in the original, but it is needed to really reinforce the “good” and “evil” scenario.
My favorite character was the Cheshire Cat, hands down. I also enjoyed the Tweedles played by Matt Lucas from Little Britain fame. The entire cast was really great.
I recommend! I think that seeing it in 3D may not be completely necessary. Avatar really set the 3D bar and if you’ve seen it in 3D you might come out of “Alice” a little disappointed.

What I want want want, is what you want want want. Give it to me now like boom boom boom.

I’m loving Ellie Goulding these last few weeks. Her album came out today but I’ve been jamming to this mix for awhile. I’d totally switch teams, she’s purrrty.

I think there’s a park on the north side of Indianapolis that has one of these, or something very similar.

I watched a documentary on Leigh Bowery with my friend Justin last weekend. At first, I felt like he was totally crazy, and anyone who followed him were just as crazy. But the more I watched, the more I understood his art. He really was the original Lady Gaga.

Come on Boy, Show Me Your Teeth

Is this a teaser for a promo video? Or perhaps just a tour screen? A nineteen second clip leaked online today of Lady Gaga and video for her song “Teeth”.
The way this is shot, I’m guessing it’s…
